Prices

Prices for the Kokoda Track Experience cover the expenses of a group of at least 8 trekkers. On this basis, the price per person is AUD $3095.00*

INCLUDED IN THIS PRICE:

Flights:

 Airfare Cairns – Port Moresby – Cairns
Airfare Kokoda – Port Moresby or Popendetta to Port Moresby
Airport taxes and flight taxes

Permits:

 Kokoda Track trekking permit

Road Transport:

 Bus from Port Moresby to Owers Corner (via Bomana War Cemetery)Vehicle Popendetta to Kokoda.

Accommodation:

 Sleeping in village huts, tents, bush camps or guesthouses. 8 nights at various locations on the track

Meals:

 Breakfast and dinner each day during the trek – excludes any fresh fruits and veggies supplied by villagers – plus cooked evening meal and breakfast at Kokoda or Popendetta. Lunches are not included.

Cooking Equipment:

 Camping “Dixie” – if required

Tents and Backpacks:

 2-person tent, Porter’s backpacks

Guides:

 Experienced local tour guide plus a group leader from Australia

Porters:

 Porters for group camping and cooking equipment (personal porter optional)

Communications:

 Two way radio and a satellites phone (group equipment)

 OPTIONAL EXTRAS:

Personal Porter:

 AUD $600.00 additional cost – please tell us on your booking form if you want a personal porter

Visits:

 The cost of visits to any War Museums along the Track is not included

Snacks, Lunches & Beverages:

 You are responsible for proving any trek snacks, lunches and beverages.

Walking Sticks:

 We can provide walking sticks for AUD $25.00 a pair.

Head Torches:

 We can provide head torches for AUD $15.00 each

 

Payment:

  •  AUD $1,000 is payable prior to air tickets being purchased.
  • Payment of the balance is due 30 days prior to departure.
  • Please note that all payments made by Visa and MasterCard will incur an additional charge of 2%.

Cancellation:

Cancellation of a confirmed booking is to be in writing. The following cancellation charges will apply:

  • Cancellation 60 to 21 days prior to departure – loss of deposit and any direct non recoverable payments
  • Cancellation less than 21 days prior to departure –  no refund
